Three Injured in Early Morning Shooting in Hagerstown

Hagerstown, Md. (KM) – Police in Hagerstown are investigating a shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning, leaving three individuals injured.

Officers responded around 1:40 a.m. to the intersection of East Antietam Street and South Locust Street following reports of gunfire and multiple injuries. Upon arrival, they discovered three victims: a 15-year-old girl shot in the right leg, a 17-year-old boy hit in the right hip, and a 19-year-old man wounded in the right thigh.

All three were transported to Meritus Medical Center with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

Authorities believe the shots were intended for others within a larger group at the scene.
