Police seek suspects filmed ransacking a Montgomery County home

CABIN JOHN, Md.Authorities in Montgomery County are asking for the public’s assistance as they search for two individuals suspected of breaking into multiple homes late last month. In at least one of the incidents, the suspects were captured on a homeowner’s surveillance camera, providing investigators with video evidence tied to the crimes.

According to the Montgomery County Police Department, the burglaries occurred over a one-week span between December 31, 2025, and January 6, 2026. Police say the two suspects forcibly entered four separate residences located in the 6400 block of Wishbone Terrace and the 7800 block of Archbold Terrace. After gaining entry, the suspects allegedly stole items from inside the homes before fleeing the scenes.

On Thursday, police released surveillance footage from one of the break-ins in hopes that someone may recognize the individuals involved. Investigators believe the same duo is responsible for all four burglaries and are actively working to identify and locate them.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information related to the incidents is encouraged to contact Montgomery County Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-8477. Authorities noted that tips can be submitted anonymously.

Police also stated that information leading to an arrest may qualify for a cash reward ranging from $250 to $10,000, depending on the significance of the tip.
