SILVER SPRING, Md. — Montgomery County Police are searching for a man considered a person of interest in a death investigation after a woman was dropped off at White Oak Medical Center with a gunshot wound and later died.
According to investigators, the man, believed to be Hispanic, brought the injured woman to the hospital around 7:15 a.m. on Sunday. After briefly speaking with medical staff, he left in a newer white Ford Mustang. Surveillance footage captured his arrival and departure.
The woman, described as a Hispanic female in her early-to-mid-20s, succumbed to her injuries shortly after arriving. Authorities have not yet been able to identify her. She had several distinctive tattoos, including ones on both forearms, her right thigh, her back, and above her right elbow.
Detectives are urging anyone with information about the woman or the man who dropped her off to contact the Montgomery County Police non-emergency line at 301-279-8000.
