SILVER SPRING, Md. – A deadly crash on the Inner Loop of I-495 in Montgomery County Saturday afternoon left one man dead and another injured, officials said.
The accident occurred shortly after 3 p.m. between the Georgia Avenue and Colesville Road exits, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue. The vehicle overturned, trapping two men inside.
Bystanders pulled both men from the wreck and performed CPR until emergency crews arrived. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, fire officials reported.
