Hagerstown Authorities Detain Two in Narcotics Task Force Operation

Hagerstown, Md. (KM) – Two Baltimore residents were arrested Wednesday in Hagerstown on drug and firearm charges after authorities executed a search and seizure warrant at 234 Frederick Street. The Washington County Narcotics Task Force took Travis Devon Gary, 43, and Juanita Robinson, 45, into custody.

Both face multiple charges, including possession with intent to distribute cocaine and fentanyl, possession of ecstasy, possession of a large amount of fentanyl, possession of paraphernalia, and several firearm-related offenses connected to drug trafficking and prior felony convictions.

During the operation, investigators seized:

  • 308 gel capsules of fentanyl (approx. 169 grams)

  • 116 grams of cocaine

  • Ecstasy

  • Drug paraphernalia

  • A handgun

  • Over $7,000 in cash

The investigation began in May after reports of suspected drug distribution at the Frederick Street address.

The operation involved multiple agencies, including the Washington County Special Response Team, Hagerstown Police Department’s Crime Suppression Unit and Drone Operations, Maryland State Police, and the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.

The case is part of the Maryland Criminal Intelligence Network Initiative (MCIN), a statewide program focused on dismantling gangs and criminal organizations involved in drug trafficking, firearms crimes, and other violent activities through enforcement, prevention, and intelligence sharing.
