HAGERSTOWN, Md. (DG) – A shooting outside The Chop Bar on John F. Kennedy Drive early Sunday left four people wounded, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 2:15 a.m. to find a large crowd gathered outside the bar. They immediately worked to secure the area and locate victims.
Investigators later confirmed that four individuals had been shot. Three sustained injuries that were not life-threatening, while one victim remains hospitalized in serious condition.
Detectives are still working to determine what sparked the gunfire. Authorities are asking anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 240-313-2186. Tips may also be submitted anonymously.
