Fatal crash reported in Prince George’s County

62-Year-Old Man Dies After Crashing Into Building

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. — Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Saturday morning in Prince George’s County.

Around 2 a.m., officers responded to a crash on Silver Hill Road, where 62-year-old Tyrone Eugene Perry of Washington, D.C., was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say Perry was driving northbound on Marlboro Pike toward Silver Hill Road when, for unknown reasons, he veered off the road and crashed into a building. The extent of the building’s damage is unclear.
