MARLOW HEIGHTS, Md. — A man was killed Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle in Prince George’s County, according to police. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 4700 block of St. Barnabas Road. When officers arrived, they discovered a pedestrian suffering from severe injuries in the roadway. The man, later identified as 56-year-old Kilinia Rhode of Temple Hills, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary findings indicate that Rhode was hit in the northbound lanes of St. Barnabas Road. Police said the driver involved remained at the scene and was not injured.
