Crash in Chevy Chase Sends Two to Hospital, Downs Power Line

CHEVY CHASE, Md. — A multi-vehicle collision in Chevy Chase has left two people hospitalized and brought down a power line, according to officials.

The crash occurred Tuesday evening at the intersection of Bradley Lane and Maple Avenue during rush hour. Emergency crews responded to the scene, and two individuals were transported to nearby hospitals. Their current conditions have not been disclosed.

A power line was knocked down in the crash, and Pepco crews were called to handle the situation. It’s not yet known if any surrounding homes or businesses experienced outages.

Both Bradley Lane and Maple Avenue were closed following the incident, and drivers are being urged to take alternate routes.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash.
