Fatal Beltsville Hit-and-Run: Suspect Arrested in Crash That Killed Local Mother

Authorities have announced an arrest in connection with an October hit-and-run investigation in Beltsville, Maryland. The United States Park Police reported that a suspect has been taken into custody following a collision that resulted in one fatality and left another individual injured.

The incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. on October 8 along Soil Conservation Road near Beaver Dam Road, within the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center. According to investigators, two cyclists were struck by a vehicle. One individual was pronounced deceased by responding officials, while the second cyclist sustained injuries that were considered non-life-threatening. The driver involved left the scene, prompting an active search for the vehicle and the person responsible.

Over the following weeks, Park Police continued gathering information and sought assistance from the public to identify the vehicle involved. Through community tips and investigative efforts, authorities located the suspected vehicle and arrested Maboh Ndimah on October 31. Officials emphasize that the investigation remains ongoing, and additional steps are being carried out to complete the case.
