Montgomery County Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Suspect Linked to Wheaton Stabbing

Rockville, Md. (DG) – Authorities are searching for a man seen on surveillance footage after a late-night dispute outside a Wheaton restaurant escalated into a stabbing early Saturday morning.

Police say the incident happened around 3:20 a.m. at the intersection of Fern Street and University Boulevard West. A group leaving a nearby restaurant reportedly got into an argument, during which the suspect pulled out a weapon and stabbed a man. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he is in critical but stable condition.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about 28 years old, thin build, short black hair, a goatee, an ear piercing, and tattoos on both arms. At the time, he was wearing a white Nicaragua baseball jersey with the number 16, a royal blue cap with an “N” emblem, black shorts, and white Jordan sneakers.
