Two construction workers died Tuesday morning after being electrocuted while working on a rooftop in Camp Springs, Maryland.
The incident occurred around 9:15 a.m. in the 6900 block of Allentown Road. According to Prince George’s County Fire and EMS, the men were using a ladder that accidentally came into contact with a high-voltage power line, resulting in fatal electrocution.
When firefighters arrived, both men were already deceased. Their identities have not yet been released.
At the scene, Pepco crews and investigators were seen inspecting a nearby power pole adjacent to the roof of the First Baptist Church of Camp Springs.
