Silver Spring, MD – A 34-year-old woman from Silver Spring lost her life in a solo vehicle crash late Sunday night, April 13, 2025, on Colesville Road.
Emergency crews from the Montgomery County Police and Fire/Rescue departments responded to the 10400 block of Colesville Road around 10:41 p.m. after receiving multiple reports of a car striking a utility pole. When first responders arrived, they found a black 2022 Kia Telluride off the roadway. The driver and only occupant, Osbelia Minh, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Montgomery County Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit, Minh was heading south on Colesville Road when, for reasons still unknown, her vehicle veered off the road and collided with a wooden utility pole. Investigators confirmed she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and sustained fatal injuries.
